Rachel Bennett Music

I began taking piano lessons from Mrs. Bennett when I was six, full of energy and ready to soak up a new kind of knowledge. With patience, enthusiasm, and an amazing sense of humor, Mrs. Bennett helped me to grow as a musician. I quickly cultivated a love for piano, as her passion for teaching was infectious.  With her encouragement I was able to explore new realms of music and challenge myself each week to reach a level of confidence with piano that I would not have achieved without her support.

 

Piano became an escape for me, a mental break from school and sports where I could just enjoy myself while creating something amazing. Mrs. Bennett would make practicing exciting and fun by awarding stickers for each mastered song. From Christmas carols and pop songs, to jazz and classical music, I was able to discover a wide spectrum of music through my lessons. In addition to being a musical mentor, Mrs. Bennett has become a huge part of my life and has supported me throughout all my endeavors. Her love of music combined with her ability to motivate and connect with her students, makes for a special and enriching learning experience.
